Outdoor Activities
Aside from the natural wonders at Spruce Lake Farm itself - the lake, fishing pond, woodland stream, trails, pine forest and ½ mile driveway (great for morning runs) - there are outdoor activities nearby for enthusiasts of every type.
26-mile rail to trail along the West Branch Delaware River, starting just ¼ mile east of Table on Ten. The trail is flat and mostly shaded, and passes through the villages of South Kortright and Hobart before arriving in the town of Stamford (consider stopping for ice cream and a quick bite at Mac-A-Doodles) and continues on to Grand Gorge and Roxbury.
Nice trail down to the Little Delaware River.
Good course and restaurant only 10 minutes away.
Starts near the old Andes Train Station.
Next mountain over.
Go no further than Al's Sports Store for fishing supplies and canoe/kayak rentals for Papacton Reservoir.
